As earlier noted, maxit Leca UK was preset at the Edinburgh International Coasts Marine Structures and Breakwaters Conference.
Maxit Leca UK had a stand there promoting our Leca LWA material specifically for supply to include the rapidly increasing and emerging markets of Coastal defence and Marine Structures. The conference was from 16th September to the 18th September and Maxit enjoyed an enviable reception from attendants globally who were interested in everything from Coastal defence projects to land reclamation to quay extensions and deepwater quays.
In all the conference was thoroughly rewarding with major steps being made to strengthen Maxit’s relationships with some of the worlds largest organizations such as:
CowiA/S, Hochtief Construction, Israel Port Company, Jacobs Engineering Jan de Nul, Malaysian Government, Cyprus Ministry of Communications and Works, Scott Wilson, Scottish Council of Development and Industry, Environment Agency, Mouchel, Nakheel, US army Corps of Engineers, Npower Renewables, Fife Council, National Energy Corporation, Mott Macdonald, Birse Civils, Hastings Borough Council, Aberdeenshire Council, Renault Nissan, Icelandic Maritime Administration, Spanish Government, Port authority of Coruna, Gijon Port .
The breakwater Conference was organised by the Institution of Civil Engineers and more papers covering key issues and opportunities around breakwaters, costal defence and the exciting and rapid growth area of near shore renewable energy were discussed than ever before.
It is good to know that Maxit Leca UK is at the cutting edge and high volume end of the LWA business.
